Her style covers numerous genres including Gospel, Jazz, Classical, R&B, and Pop. She has also had the opportunity to work, and share the stage with national recording artists Tye Tribbett, Martha Munizzi, Kim Burrell, Daryl Coley, James Moore, Shirley Caesar, The late Albertina Walker, Dorinda Clark Cole, Byron Cage, Musiq Soulchild, Letoya Luckett, and Alicia Keys to name a few.
Two years into her broadcast journalism degree at Kent State University, Ashley left home to pursue her dream. She moved to Boston Massachusetts to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in January of 2007 on scholarship. After graduating in 2009, she worked diligently to complete her debut album 'One Freedom' based on Galations 5:1. The album boldly declares that there's only one freedom, only one God.
"I want people to experience a life of true freedom, and the only way that's possible is through Jesus Christ," she says. Her sound is truly new, refreshing, and revolutionary. Her voice is the voice of this generation; a voice that captivates, inspires, and enlightens.
